SYMPTOMS
After the initial configuration of Windows 8, your Aspire V5-122P may be slow to respond or may hang up at times.
CAUSE
When you first setup your computer, your McAfee anti-virus software will update itself and perform a full system scan. During this scan, the system may not respond. If you reboot the system, the scan will start over again.
SOLUTION
Leave the system running so that this initial anti-virus update and scan can complete. Once completed, the system performance will be as expected.
