Why is the battery not charging on the Aspire M5-582PT?
SYMPTOMS
The Aspire M5-582PT may not power on using battery power if the memory compartment door is not closed properly. The internal battery is equipped with a safety feature to cut the power if the memory compartment door is opened.
SOLUTION
Make sure the memory compartment door is installed correctly and the screw is tightened completely. If you continue to experience this problem, please contact Acer support.
